This past year has been a year of great joy with the birth of a beautiful baby girl. Her parents went to a party, stayed over and she decided that Worcester was the place to hello world. Just as we celebrate the miracle of new life we also feel sad for the loss of another. Two young guys from Germany stayed over at the Lodge for quite a while as they were working in the area. On the day they left they were involved in a car accident and the one young man passed away due to injuries sustained. Life happens while we are busy living.
During the past year some things also happened concerning the Lodge itself. We got all new bedding for the one part of the Lodge and the Manor house was renovated. The water restrictions are taking it’s toll on the garden, but it still is beautiful.
Like with all businesses we have had complaints, some silly and some serious, but all in all the compliments have out shined the problems. That means we are doing it right. Our long stays are like family in the Lodge already and some will even be going into 2017 with us.
Grieta, who used to be part of the Lodge is back with us. Elizna is still here, keeping all of us in check and I moved into the Managers office. It has been a wonderful year and we are looking forward to what 2017 holds for us all.
Thank you to our loyal clients. May your Festive season be filled with love and laughter and I wish that The New Year will be a prosperous one for one and all.
